BBQ Dinner & Reverse Raffle at VFW Post 7754
On April 20, 2024, the Fairport Harbor VFW Post 7754 and their auxiliary will be hosting a BBQ dinner (Mission BBQ) and reverse raffle in support of honoring our heroes. This event will have many prizes and includes an open bar with the purchase of your ticket. Tickets are onsale now at VFW 7754, 540 New Street in Fairport Harbor. Tickets are $40 each, which includes a BBQ dinner, a big board ticket, and an open bar. Doors at 5pm, Dinner at 6pm

In memory of her PAPA Eugene (Gene) Platano. Vietnam veteran and local business owner. A man who genuinely believed in helping others.
Part of the proceeds from this event will be used to fund the very first Heroes Memorial Scholarship at the Kent State University Ashtabula Campus. This will be the Eugene Raymond Platano Memorial Scholarship, recognizing Mr. Platano for his service to our country and his community. He served in the Vietnam War as an airborne infantryman with the elite 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment.
2024 Minigolf Outing
• The event will be from 11:30am to 2:00PM
Come out and join us on June 22, 2024 for our second annual minigolf outing. The event will be held at Red Mill Golf Center in Perry, Ohio. Tickets include a pizza and/or sub lunch and refreshments. We will, of course, have a Chinese auction with great prizes and another fun guest to entertain the kids (last year was Skipper).
4th Annual Salute to Our Supporters (by Invitation)
We recognize our top donors, volunteers, and supporting contractors. This year's event will be held at the Lake County Captains game on August 4th at 1 . We will have a larger suite for our guests, and of course we'll be setup on the main concourse to provide information about our organization to all fans who stop by. We look forward to having another silent auction with some autographed sports items from your favorite Cleveland team.
